COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We are thrilled to welcome guests back to Union Avenue Opera. The safety of our guests, artists, and staff, is our greatest priority. In response to the current COVID-19 infection numbers, we have updated our safety protocols which can be found HERE. We will continue to monitor and adjust these policies as appropriate. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we operate Union Avenue Opera differently to ensure a safe environment for all.

Latecomers will be seated in the closest vacant seat (not always the best available seat), at an appropriate break, until intermission. UAO accepts no responsibility for the inconvenience and can make no exceptions for late arrivals. Refunds or exchanges are NOT issued to latecomers. We encourage parents to introduce their children to opera when they think the child is ready for the experience. We expect that parents will take into account the subject and nature of the show in question and will be considerate of the other patrons seated near them. Union Avenue Opera requires that all children have a ticket for admittance into the theater and are required to sit in their own seat, not on a lap, to avoid interfering with the view of others. Children and infants under the age of 5 are not allowed in the theater, except at approved performance, education and outreach opportunities.
